<p>Sarri also mentioned he was impressed by the performance of Aleksei Miranchuk, Lokomotiv’s midfielder. It should be noted that it was Miranchuk who scored the goal on the 30th minute. However, one scored goal was not enough to emerge victorious as Juventus’s Dybala  eventually managed to score a brace. Juventus will face Lokomotiv once again next month, on November 6th. This time the game will be played on Russian turf, at RZD Arena in Moscow. </p>

The first place was awarded to Lionel Messi, the captain of the Spanish club Barcelona. </p>

<p>The British newspaper polled its 10 football writers to name 50 strongest players who performed in the last two decades. While assigning points to players, the writers considered several factors, including a player’s ability and the actual application of that ability, the level they reached and their influence on the competitive scene. </p>

<p>The second place in the rating was awarded to Cristiano Ronaldo, who for the last few years has been a regular rival to Messi. The Spanish player Xavi was placed third. <p>International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) is going to invest USD 1 billion in women’s football, according to the statement of the organization’s president Gianni Infantino.</p>

<p>The decision to invest money was made at the FIFA Council in Shanghai. It is expected that they will spend USD 1 billion over the following four years. </p> 
<p>Initially FIFA planned to invest into women’s football only USD 500 million. Eventually the organization decided to double the amount, using their reserves.  </p>
<p>It should be mentioned that $1bn is a notable amount of money for the sports industry. For comparison, <a href="/en/news/pubg-global-championship-2019-begins-in-two-weeks">PUBG Global Championship</a>, which will be held in Los Angeles, will feature only a $2,000,000 prize pool. </p>

<p>During the post-council press conference, the FIFA’s president Gianno Infantino explained the decision by an incredibly stable financial status of the organization. According to his statement, the Federation has never been so stable in finances. </p>
